PIPLUP (8) could be a big improver here. She ran well fresh at Kembla Grange before tackling a stronger race at Flemington over 1700m, well beaten there but in the market. She'll relish the rise to 2000m in a much easier affair here. CAVALRY MAN (1) has won both starts this time in, backing up a strong Seymour maiden win with a narrow victory in this grade at Kyneton. No reason he can't win again from a soft draw. SALSITA (4) won two back in BM58 grade at Kyneton before running well in this grade at Pakenham. He maps for a nice run here and won't have to improve much to go close. AMENOPHIS (2) looks suited to a rise in trip now third up and can hit the line well.
