Ex-Victorian STARLACCA (12) lines up for the first time in four months under a new trainer. Didn't fire in her two runs last prep but the campaign prior saw her in the money on a couple of occasions. Query in the going but if wound up she is good enough to win. VOCATION (18) led all the way to win in heavy going over 1000m at Ballina two back. Couldn't lead and failed to run on last time at Port Macquarie over the same trip. Hard one to catch but capable of winning on his day. COOL FIZZ (4) has been safely held in her two runs since a dogged win on a heavy deck at Taree in late March. Loves it wet and this is her pet trip. Should be right there at the business end. Forget the last run of EGOTISTIC (8) as she was found out over 1200m. Good wet tracker with three wins over today's journey. Can bounce back. SOYOUTHINKIT'SOVER (14) resumes. Will derive great benefit from this outing but a bold first-up performance will not surprise.
