SALTBURN (6) showed good ability in his first few starts then resumed with a solid sixth in a far richer maiden at Moonee Valley. Fitter and comes back a notch for this. Goes close. STORM CAPITAL (7) looks the clear threat. Placed at both runs this time in and looks bursting to win a maiden. Hard to hold out. MARTY MCFLY (5) missed the frame last time but was beaten only half a length. Freshened for this and is another close to getting off the mark. BRUTIFY (8) has been thereabouts last couple, the latest finishing seventh over 1300m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Can play a big role on best figures. CALYPSO KING (1) is a gelding by Dark Cove facing the starter for the first time. Runner-up in a Bendigo trial most recently. Trained here and worth keeping an eye on the market.
