CHASING APHRODITE (2) looks ready to peak now. He's a former import who has stuck on well at his last two, beaten narrowly over 2150m in the Onkaparinga Cup at Oakbank last time out. Sets up well on the quick turnaround out to 2500m. MOZU MARCASSIN (5) was a narrow winner fresh, not far away last time at Caulfield over 2000m. Fitter again third up and should take beating. CABLE DANCER (3) has been going well of late, finding the line well under 60.5kg last time out. Gets in lighter here and can figure. PREFERENTIAL (6) hit the line well at Caulfield over 2000m last time and should be thereabouts. ALHAMBRA LAD (1) has the huge weight but is way back in grade.
