NIGHT CRYER (1) found more like his best winning a Maiden here this trip. Races forward and Linda goes on today. Peaks today and he is well-placed to go on with the job. DANZAGRUNT (4) got closer at Swan Hill back to the mile and he'd raced favourite over this distance at Horsham prior but disappointed (vet cleared). May push forward and is worth another chance. MR SHORTY (3) just missed at Werribee over a mile and gives every indication the middle distance will suit. He has to be considered. MR ZED (8) has been racing over staying trip and has had a hurdle trial since last seen on race day, three weeks ago. He's likely to be around the mark. TRANSLUCENT ANGEL (13) hasn't threatened her last two at this track, but she rates well enough at best and is also in the mix.
