Verdict

DYAMI (2) returned from a ten-month break with a gallant second last start over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Copped a little interference in the run home that day which may have been costly. Lightly raced gelding who will take a lot from that run and out to this trip can go one better. MARAIS (5) has been frustrating for connections, collecting nine minor placings in twelve appearances. Had a seven-week let-up before a last start fifth over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Strips fitter and this is a far more suitable journey. CINSAULT (8) was first-up for eleven months last start when she registered her sixth minor placing from as many runs, boxing on well for second over 1300m at the Farm. Draws a nice gate and gets her chance. GOLDEN STRAAND (4) met with good support and ran well on debut recently at Wyong. Will find this harder but cannot be ruled out. MISS JONES (10) is another who will strip fitter today and is not out of contention.
