AUGUSTA MOON (2) has been in fine form recently and was runner-up in a stronger grade here 3 weeks ago over 1200m. He won twice over this trip before that and with a drop in class, he is the one to beat. LITTLE DITTY (1) capped off some fine form with an all-the-way win here a fortnight ago. He is up 3kg in weight and cops a tougher gate but will still give a good account of himself. ARROGANT MISS (4) is a durable veteran who does most of her racing on this track. She has been runner-up in her last couple of starts and should be at her peak fitness after having 3 runs back from a spell. Stick with her. STARTON (3) was in good form at the end of last season on the Darwin circuit and normally comes to hand quickly. He is not too badly treated at the weights at this level and a good run is expected fresh up, especially if the money comes for him.
