PIPPIE BEACH (1) proven third-up performer desperate for a rain affected track. Savaged the line when fourth in the G3 Belle Turf over 1600m at Gosford. Claim helps and she looks great each way value in this weaker contest. PURE ALPHA (9) frustrating gelding who excels second-up. Key jockey change from the low draw and can make rapid improvement. PRETTY POWERFUL (10) sound first-up win and wasn't that far away when third in this class at latest. Look for him doing his best work late from the wide barrier.
