HARLEY’N’ROSE (1) doesn’t win out of turn but strikes a very suitable race and gets the key drop in grade. His best figures measure up strongly and the favourable draw should allow him to blend in at the right time. A bold showing is well within reach. HAMNER SPRINGS (4) is another who doesn’t win often but is edging closer and finds a winnable assignment. From the kind draw he can settle closer than usual, and holding his current form puts him right in the mix. THINK TANK (5) has been giving himself too much to do against stronger opposition, but the rise in trip is ideal and he’ll be launching late if the race sets up for him. FLYING ASSASSIN (2) also tends to get back and leave his run too late, but a solid tempo will help and he’s capable of chiming in late to make his presence felt.
