Didn't make an impression on debut back in October but looks to have come on a treat during the break, stripping fitter for three handy trials in readiness. Blinkers go on first time race day and the 2kg claim gets her in light. Bold showing anticipated. CHIX DIGGUS (1) was okay on debut at Murray Bridge last month on the back of some strong trial form. Is sure to have come on from that and looks a big chance in this line-up. THUNDER EMPRESS (12) is a Night Of Thunder filly on debut for the Lacy stable. Has come along nicely in her lead-up work and is expected to play a role on debut, though she will need a smart steer from the wide alley. MORLOCK (3) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing just under 2L from the winner in fourth at Balaklava. Open to improvement and looms a contender. Debutant SHIVOUAC (5) also holds claims.
