FROTHSAY (8) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 1000m at Aramac, beaten 6 lengths. That was first run for this year and was well back in trip off a let-up. Fitter and back out in journey gets chance to atone. MARAVILLAS (1) was in the money two starts back at Bowen but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at Mackay over 1560m after being in the firing line on the bend. Certainly worth another chance.. HI FRANK (9) finished third last start over 1640m at Roma, beaten 6 lengths. Overdue and expected to be in the finish. BONDI PROPHET (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Mt Isa, finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1200m. Sure to be thereabouts. PRIVATE TENDER (7) has the ability and cannot be taken lightly.
