The 2YO's get things underway. BURNING BRIDGES (1) trialled well going into his debut and he performed well at Pinjarra, beaten just 0.4L over 1200m. Brad Parnham rides now from a good draw and he shouldn't be too far off the speed. Can go a couple better this time around. DARYTE (6) has shown plenty of ability at the trials, winning her latest heat by a length. Pike has been with her all the way through and remains in the saddle for her debut. Maps beautifully and should put her best foot forward on debut. FARNOVA (7) is another debutant, this time for Mitch Pateman. She's only had one 400m trial coming in, but she did show plenty of speed there. Expecting her to be somewhere near the front on settling and she may be hard to reel in. TEXAN DREAM (2)was slightly disappointing in his debut campaign but can make amends as he comes here fresh. KUTE AS KAN BE (5) won't be far away if she runs up to her recent trial.
