BERRY BLAST (6) opened this campaign last start with a second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1200m at Pinjarra Scarpside. Really knuckled down strongly and hit the line hard. Fitter again and sure to prove tough to stop. SISU SPIRIT (2) resumed from a long break and got home well to finish midfield in this grade at Pinjarra Scarpside. Fitter for that run and expected to be in the finish this time. LIEUTENANT DUNBAR (8) is going better than recent form suggests and strips fitter for two runs back. Goes well here and will find this easier. MILITARY JANE (11) is racing well and has a big finish. Will be tough to stop. Hard to leave out the talented mare COSMIC SPIRIT (7) who won two of three runs back in 2024 and has been off the scene since. In and out of work a few times but fitter for a recent trial, has Pike, and definitely has the ability. Must include.
