EXCEED ME (5) raced on the speed then battled on well to hold third when resuming over this course and distance last start. Lightly raced three-year-old who should take a lot from that run and appeals as the one to beat. MARKWELL MUSIC (8) showed blistering pace and led for home but found a couple better in the closing stages when fresh from a spell over this trip at Tuncurry last time out. That was the best of her five runs to date. Big chance if she can build on that performance. I'M SUPER (6) hasn't showed a great deal of early pace in her two runs to date but is finding the line well. May need a bit more ground now but with a soft run from gate one assured she should prove tough to hold out. BLUE DANE (7) knocked up when resuming from a 14-month spell recently. Fitter and can improve. SUPIDO STAR (10) ran a much better race last start at Scone when facing the starter for just the second time. Open to further improvement.
