SINDEE (1) made good progress last season and resumed with a bold effort for third at Whanganui over 1200m 4 weeks ago when starting as the favourite. She is nicely placed again after a 3kg claim, and from a superior gate, with an extra furlong to travel, she is the one to beat. ON THE TOWN (8) did not have much luck when trekking to Riccarton last month, and will be down in class here. He is at his best on a good track and can bounce back into form here. STIPULATOR (11) is a handy mare resuming from a spell. She has won fresh up in the past, and if her mind is on the job, then she is capable of running a bold race in this. Check the market moves. FLANAGAN (12) won a trial prior to a fair effort for fourth on a track that was heavier than she preferred, and she then ran on late at Ellerslie last time out. She cops another wide gate, but can figure in the finish again. Watch for her late. OPPENHEIMER (4) did not cope with the step up to a mile last time out. He can make amends here.
