BRADMAN (1) was very game when finishing third in the Winter Cup over a mile here last week. He set the pace that day, and after giving a big kick, he fought on gamely right to the line. He is better over 1400m, and with the benefit of a 2kg claim this time, he will take plenty of pegging back. MASTER MARKO (4) stuck to his task gamely over 1200m on the first day when finishing third, and is peaking at the right time. The extra furlong is ideal, and he can give the top pick plenty to think about. BUOYANT (7) is a very capable gelding with a great record on this track. He is resuming from a spell and is nicely weighted at this level. Let the market moves be your best guide. LORD DARCI (3) was sixth in the Winter Cup and has always been suspect over a mile. He is perfectly placed over 1400m here, and is expected to bounce straight back into the money. Each way. VICTOR ROUGE (8) is a stablemate of the fourth pick who is also better suited over 1400m rather than a mile. Don't drop him.
