FIELD OF GOLD looked an unlucky loser in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and can fully confirm those impressions with Colin Keane taking over in the saddle now. Hotazhell was a Group 1 winner at 2 and might be the one to give the give the selection most to do. The unbeaten Cosmic Year is another very interesting runner and part of a strong hand for Juddmonte.

Impressive winner of the Craven at Newmarket on reappearance and probably should have won the 2000 Guineas back there 17 days later, finishing strongly for ½-length second after conceding first run. Compensation awaits.

Kingman colt who has looked a very exciting prospect when winning his 3 starts (all 7f), the latest a Newmarket listed event by 1½ lengths. Isn't short of speed but he ought to stay 1m.

All 3 outings here, building on his 7f reappearance in the Gladness with a win in a listed race over this trip 19 days ago. Likely capable of even better and the mount of Ryan Moore from the Aidan O'Brien pair.

Very likeable 2-y-o who added to his Group 2 Beresford success over this C&D when battling well again to edge out Delacroix in the Group 1 Futurity at Doncaster (1m, heavy) in October. Pulled out of the French 2000 Guineas due to quickish ground in favour of coming here. Should go well.

Made a winning debut over 7f here last October. Excellent second in the Dewhurst at Newmarket only a week later but trailed in 9 lengths ninth to Ruling Court (Field of Gold second) in the 2000 Guineas back at Newmarket on his reappearance. Ryan Moore sides with Officer this time.

Sprung a 66/1 surprise in last year's Coventry at Royal Ascot but underlined that was no fluke when second in 6f/7f Group 1s in France later in the season. Showed he's trained on when chasing home Jonquil in the Greenham at Newbury (7f, good) 6 weeks ago. Likely to stay 1m.

Saw off Henri Matisse to win the Group 1 National Stakes over 7f here (good) last September but finished 7 lengths behind Field of Gold when seventh of 11 to Ruling Court in 2000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) on return 3 weeks ago.

Progressed well at 2, culminating with third to Hotazhell in Beresford over C&D. Good ¾-length second to Swagman in Classic Trial at Sandown (1¼m, good to soft) on reappearance but he didn't look to be helping his rider (hung left) and cheekpieces are reached for now dropping back in trip.
