ALERO (1) went back-to-back when winning a 64 easily at The Heath first-up and then missed a whisker at Pakenham as favourite. Linda rides today and will settle him forward. In the premier stable and stripping fitter, he should have them covered and as a result he goes confidently on top. WARPARTY (8) didn't miss a beat winning a 62 at Mornington first-up and then was better again narrowly beaten at Pakenham behind the above. He has to jump from an outside barrier today, and that tempers expectations. CHOICE WITNESS (10) is racing well in the country and can improve again over the longer sprint.
