GIN RUMMY (7) drops back in class after tackling the G3 Chairman’s Stakes. Stuck on soundly into eighth behind much stronger opposition and his prior form reads well. Will find this much more to his liking. MANDINO (5) chased gamely into fifth when resuming over a distance far shy of his best at Strathalbyn. Is sure to have come on with that run under his belt and is drawn much kinder. Bold showing anticipated. I RUN ON AIR (3) was strong through the line when shedding his maiden tag last start. This is tougher, but he gives the impression he’s capable of measuring up. KAILEE'S BOY (4) ran strong time in front and fought bravely to get the verdict. Similar tactics will see him hard to run down again.
