Charlie Appleby's DIAMOND RAIN enjoyed a good first season in 2024 and is fancied to make a winning return with few miles still on the clock and further progress very much on the cards. Ambiente Amigo could emerge as the chief threat for the ever-impressive James Owen yard, although Running Lion has the form to play a major part if on her A-game and stablemate Place of Safety appeals as another likely improver this term and needs considering too.
