Payne-trained OH SO THRILLING (5) resumed at Wangaratta and did about what was expected. She has placed 2/2 second-up and has plenty in the tank. Maps well and will prove tough to beat. SHAL EXCEED (11) was okay in a 70 at Warrnambool and then missed a nose in a 52 at Echuca. That stacks up, and she has weight relief at this level. A decent chance on an 8-day return. JESSUP (1) was terrible at Werribee, but his form prior would see him in the finish. She has the early speed to manage the awkward gate. JACKIE MOON (13) led but lost a plate at Echuca and folded up. Has a handy 2kg claim and the first-time blinkers applied. He can give a sight. SAXON BEAUTY (10) has been freshened and would be around the mark with a repeat of his Echuca effort two back.
