First starter CURRUMBIN ALLEY (1) likely holds the key to this race. While beaten several lengths in his trial he wasn't tested out at all and has found the leading rider to partner. Commands respect. TARRANT COUNTY (12) ran well two starts back but probably outclassed in a stronger maiden at Scone over the carnival. Easier here and no surprise to see him bounce back. INJAIR (14) is a local and while he's had a number of chances he looked good winning a trial at this track recently. Has to be included from a perfect draw. YANABAH (3) and MISS YOU SO (4) are both genuine chances.
