ALONG THE RIVER (1) resumes and anything like his best really should be winning this. He was last seen running in a G2 Australia Stakes, obviously outclassed there, but with good runs in stronger grade than this prior. Back to a BM64 here, the apprentice can keep him out of trouble and prove too strong late. EXPRESS YO'SELF (6) ran well fresh at Pakenham in a 0-64 behind one with handy prior form. She's shown decent ability herself and should strip fitter. No knocks on JAHANGIR (2) who has won two in a row and clearly has good upside. Toughed it out well at Bendigo and should measure up nicely again. MANHATTAN THUNDER (3) is racing in sound form and will be strong late. BACK TO THE FUTURE (5) perhaps best of the rest.
