ISLAND DEC (2) won here fresh up by a short head and has since been contesting a couple of hot fields, finishing well back. She will notice the class drop this time, and only needs some cut in the ground, to be the one to beat. POWER BALLARD (3) had a couple of starts earlier in the season without much luck. She has been freshened up and looked in great shape when winning a recent Rosehill trial. She has winning form here over the trip and can give this a shake. PHOTOGRAPH (5) has been freshened up since failing to fire here when resuming from a spell. She has been given a recent quiet trial and has been waiting for some softer tracks. With conditions to suit, she would not be a shock winner. CORDINA (12) finished third here 9 days ago and probably needed the hit-out. She drops 4kg in weight, so stick with her.
