NOTABADBUY (3) should be ready to peak third up. He stuck on well at Sandown Lakeside last time out when beaten a neck and should be fitter again. He'll roll forward with Ben Melham in the saddle and should prove hard to get past. EL JAMES (4) is the big watch. He's a progressive type who resumed in the Warracknabeal Cup, backed into $1.35, beaten narrowly into third. A stronger test of stamina will really suit here and he's a big danger. BARBIE'SDREAMWORLD (15) was outclassed in the G3 Auraria Stakes at Morphettville when last seen. The run prior was good and this is obviously easier. FLOSSING (1) was solid fresh at Bendigo and can improve with a good second-up record. BROOKLYN BOSS (8) is in the mix.
