UNDER THE HOOD (1) was backed for a stack and got the job done by a narrow margin when resuming over 1200m at Wagga last start. Steps up in class now but he is promising and should appreciate getting out over more ground. PHORONEUS (2) last raced in March 2024 when a comfortable maiden winner over 1300m at Canberra. Wasn't disgraced in the Black Opal last prep so he has a touch of quality. Big ask over this trip off a long break, particularly from this draw, but he too good to rule out. LADY REVOLUTION (7) has been beaten under a length at her last three runs, most recently when runner-up over 1460m at Queanbeyan. Honest mare who is a threat again from a perfect draw. Last start Nowra maiden winner WINNIE FORTUNE (9) placed at her other two runs prior to that victory, both here. Looks ready for this step up in trip and should be competitive. LYSANDER (12) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and needs seven furlongs now.
