ALBERTVILLE (5) is perfectly placed to bring up the hat-trick after producing a powerful finish from well off the pace to score at Mornington last start. He’s a horse who does his best work late and Jamie Melham sticking. Kept on the fresh side for this as he drops back in trip. Sure to take some stopping. SOLAR BLAST (11) closed off nicely into a midfield finish when resuming at Oakbank. Strips fitter and gets weight off with gun apprentice in Johnstone claiming 2kgs. Likely to threaten. HYPERNOVA (12) returns and is capable fresh, having placed when resuming last prep. Hasn't been seen at any public trials in readiness but his best form commands his inclusion.
