Verdict
COEUR DE LYON (1) has barely put a foot wrong in his last five and is in terrific form. Deserves to carry the top weight on recent efforts and gets key booking in Nunes on eight day turnaround. Only has to gold his form to be taking this out. COOL MAGNUM (4) shocked punters last week on the Parks track when getting the bob. Gets well at the weights again with the 3kg claimer sticking. Deserves a lot more respect this time. THE HASS (3) wasn't at his best last time but his form prior reads well. Steps back out to a winning trip and is among the main hopes. MESSERSCHMITT (2) was a barnstorming winner two back at Port Lincoln and came desperately close to repeating the dose last time. Will drift back again from the wide alley and be saved for the final shot at them. QUIK RHAPID (6) bounced back to form last start when getting the job done at Mt Gambier. This is tougher but he is in the mix.
