Eight-year-old marvel NATURE BOY (4) led all the way for a comfortable win on a soft track in BM66 company over today's distance last start. Really clocking up the k's but is racing in great heart. Loves the sting out and will be hard to toss again coming back in grade. SOLAR POWER (2) led in a change of tactics last time out and it did the trick as he kept finding to score over 1800m at Port Macquarie on a bog track. Untried beyond nine furlongs but should give backers a sight. MAUI (3) mixes his form. Just missed two back at Armidale over 1900m then wasn't suited dropping back a little in trip against better company at Port Macquarie last start. This looks like a more suitable assignment. CHARMED DESTINY (9) was racing well on rain-affected tracks before a disappointing effort most recently in a dry surface at Port Macquarie. Worth another chance under today's conditions. CASTEL TROSINO (5) drops in class and can improve on recent efforts.
