The scratchings have narrowed this down to just three realistic hopes. Still a maiden which is a concern but she looks to have found her niche. MEET ME IN BONDI (6) let down nicely but found one better last time out over 1600m at this track. Big step up in distance today but trust the in-form Bjorn Baker yard will have him ready. LEGEND OF KINGS (4) had a thirty-eight-day break before a solid third over 2200m at Newcastle recently, finishing just under a length behind Cheval Gris. Will tighten right up following that run and can easily turn the tables. Hard to enthuse over the others. For trifecta and first four players, include COASTAL GROOVE (1) and PHAROAH'S CRYSTAL (12) whose most recent efforts were okay.
