SIR ATLAS (1) clearly on top. He was beaten a head by a very much in form Revelare last start at Sandown Lakeside in what was an incredibly slow tempo and now looks ideally suited getting to 1600m. He started favourite and ran second in the final of this series last year and should have too much class for these at BM64 level. MRS ARTIE (7) is a nice filly on the up having won three of five to date, far too good as favourite at Sale last time out when scoring by 2.75 lengths. She's promising and should take beating. SPANGLED SIPPER (10) is racing well this time in, a soft winner in BM58 grade two back, beaten as a $1.65 favourite last time. She maps for a soft run and can figure. CAT NOIR (8) was even in the Colac Cup last time out having won in this grade prior and has each way claims.
