SON OF VADAMOS (5) has been savaging the line and continues to knock on the door. Steps out in trip on short turnaround and gets his chance to finally get off the mark. GRAND MAXIM (1) was much better last start at Clare when chasing gamely into the placings. Will appreciate the rise in trip fourth-up and should be hitting his straps. LITTLE CHICAGO (3) was an also a big improver last start when beaten less than a length at Clare. Draws well again and only needs to hold that form to be featuring. NAVAL ENSIGN (4) was no match for an impressive maiden winner in town last start but still did a good job to finish second. Pannell sticking is a positive and he's a live chance. KAILEE'S BOY (2) next best.
