GAMBLER (6) has started at $3.00 or less at all three runs this prep but is yet to deliver. Got a mile back before running on into fifth last start over 1000m at this track. Needs 1100m now so give him one more chance. REMEMBER JACK (3) has been freshened up since tiring late to miss the placings over 1200m at Canterbury a month ago. Had a seven-week break earlier in the prep following which he came out and was beaten a lip over this trip in town. That is an excellent form reference. SONG FOR ROSIE (9) has led but been overwhelmed late in proceedings at her last couple, both over 1000m. Might appreciate slightly less pressure over this trip so could take some catching. ENSIGN PARKER (7) last raced 32 days ago when in the money over 1150m at the Beaumont track. Goes best when a bit on the new side so he is certainly a contender. BOOMING BIANCA (5) is progressing nicely this prep. Won at her only try at this trip so from gate one she ticks a few boxes.
