RAMBLIN' ROSE (10) ran some good races last prep, and though not winning, she was close up on a couple of occasions. She cops a nasty gate fresh up, but is still worth including in all combinations. JUST A TIPPLE (13) ran a bold race for fifth in a stronger field at Ellerslie 8 days ago. That was his best run in a while, and expect him to be ridden positively early on here from the pole position. A top 3 finish is not beyond him in this. FABULOUS GAL (9) was only half a length from the winner when third here just over 3 weeks ago. She will be at her peak now. Each way. FREE BIRD (11) was not far away in fifth here last time out. Each way value from a handy draw.
