THIRD BASE (1) just under five weeks between runs at his second race start when leading throughout for a slick win over this track and trip. Bullock sticks in this average contest. Goes close. BREA EX (8) returned from a lengthy spell when stalking the speed for an effortless maiden win at start four over 950m at Moree. Can get cover from the draw and take a hand in the finish. NEROLA (10) another who returns from a long break. Won with plenty up the sleeve on debut over 805m at Coffs Harbour last September. Now in the Nikki Pollock yard and ran fifth in a recent trial over 800m at Gosford. Maps well.
