OH DEER (13) continued her excellent form this time in work with a tidy win over 1200m at Tuncurry last start, winding up from worse than midfield to score with a bit in hand. Can race a bit closer today from the good draw in a race that lacks urgent speed. Big chance to go back-to-back. GET SOME FUN (7) led all the way to easily defeat a Class 2 field over 1300m at Armidale last time out. Needs to hold that level of performance to compete here but she is up to the task. EDGE OF MIDNIGHT (1) missed the frame for the first time in a while when he led but was overwhelmed late in the piece over 1350m at the Beaumont track recently. Scored comfortably in a Class 3 here at this trip two back. Loves Taree and is a definite contender. Distance specialist WANJINA ROSE (15) missed in a photo at Coffs Harbour last start. Up in grade but the claim brings her in beautifully. GOLDEN HONOUR (8) has been about the mark of late and is a must for exotics punters.
