Ran a respectable fifth to I Am Carrot over 1400m at Hawkesbury nine days ago. Can race a little closer today and has genuine top-three claims. KONING (1) appreciated the quick backup when a smart on-pace winner over 2000m at Canberra with the 59kg. Will relish the 3kg claim and drawn to stalk the pace. DRUNKEN SAILOR (4) underrated gelding going better than his current form suggests. Caught the eye again when sixth over 1500m at Hawkesbury. This trip won't pose a problem and capable of taking this out. VIESTE (6) distance specialist who faded late in a strong rating contest when sixth to Wittelsbach over 2100m at Wyong. Earlier runs had merit and can quickly return to form here.
