WILD AT HEART (7) franked an easy trial win at Foxton with another easy win on debut at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago. She is bred to want more ground, but she will still be tough to hold out in this very even field. DANCING SHADOW (5) capped off some decent enough form with an impressive all the way win at Tauherenikau 15 days ago over 1300m. There is more depth to this lineup, but he is only going to continue to improve, and another good run is expected. HOORAH HENRY (2) tried hard and was not far off the winner when finishing fourth here a fortnight ago over 1200m. He was runner-up over this trip on the track before that, and can take this out. BELLES BOOM (4) built strongly to a comfortable win at New Plymouth 17 days ago on a heavy track. He should have no issue with a firmer surface and can go on with it. WYWORRY (1) stuck to his task gamely at Ellerslie last start, and was a game third here before that. He can secure a cosy trip from the pole position and can figure in the top 3.
