MISS FLADGATE (5) has been recently racing at Ellerslie and bounced back into form there just over 3 weeks ago when finishing third. She has to cope with the dog-leg course here, but in a small field, she is the one to beat. SILENT IS GOLD (1) has been very consistent since relocating with his trainer from Singapore when racing closed down there. His last start was at Ellerslie, where he failed to fire, but he is much better placed in this and should go close to taking it out. ONEIRA (4) is heading the right way with her form, and she put the writing on the wall when finishing runner-up by less than a length here 4 weeks ago. She can go one better in this. IDYLLIC (3) shows pace and is the likely leader in this field. She might be unpressured in a small field, and cannot be taken lightly. FANCY LIKE LASS (2) has yet to hit her straps this season, but this field offers her a great chance to get back into form. Can win.
