Last year’s winner TOLSTOY is yet to fire this season, but he was left poorly placed from a low draw in the International Stakes at Ascot on his most recent outing and could be worth chancing back at this venue (completed a C&D hat-trick in 2024) having been cut further slack by the assessor. Recent Ayr winner Little Empire is not yet fully exposed and needs considering, along with Dashing Darcey, who bounced back to his best on just his second outing for current yard at Haydock last time.
