LUCKY STRONG (3) did not beat much fresh up at Gladstone when clearing in maiden status, but he has been taken along quickly since returning from Hong Kong. He will be more settled now, second up, and has the scope to win better races than this. Go again. BORRELLI (2) resumed from a short let-up for a new trainer and needed the run, finishing fourth. He strips fitter, and from a good draw, he will finish a lot closer this time. Each way. SPITZBERG (7) was only run down late when finishing second by a short-head at the Sunshine Coast just over 5 weeks ago. He won his maiden at Gladstone before that, and is sliding down in class here. Stick with him. QUARTER RED (5) fought on gamely from a wide draw and finished third at Dalby nearly 3 weeks ago. He has raced his way into form, and another good effort can be expected.
