WANAVAN (3) returns from a brief spell in a very winnable race. Opened last prep with a close second over this distance at Muswellbrook. Would only need to replicate effort to take care of this field. BY LINDA (6) worked though the line fairly but never threatened when resuming over today's journey at Muswellbrook last start. Best form last prep came over more ground but in a race of few chances she gets her chance. HOT CHESTNUT (1) has led for home at his last couple but been found wanting in the closing stages. Might lead again and could take some catching this time. RIVER BISCOTTE (2) is back after a six-month break. Progressed nicely through the maiden campaign and should be about the money in this company. DIABLO DANCER (7) first-up is one for the exotics. Recent trial winner WARBRECCAN (4) has been well found in early markets and should be competitive.
