WATCHME WIN (6) wasn't far away in stronger company last start, finishing a close fifth behind G1 winner Asfoora, in the G3 RN Irwin Stakes at this track. She’s a proven performer at the distance and with Holder sticking, she gets every chance to feature again. Leading player. MANOLO BLING (7) was dominant fresh at Bendigo, scoring with a bit in hand. This is harder but she’s got upside and can make the leap. VOLCANIC EXPRESS (4) produced a sizzling finish to take out the LR Hills Railway Stakes at Oakbank, flashing home late from last. Needs things to go his way but is flying and must be respected again. SANS DOUTE (3) wasn’t disgraced in a Listed sprint down the straight at Flemington and has been kept fresh for this. Trialled well and looks ready to run a bold race. Solid each-way credentials. LA DEFENSE (10) came from the clouds when resuming off a very long break at Flemington. Treading carefully second-up but he deserves respect.
