SPECIAL GHAIYYATH chased home a fairly useful type when runner-up at Windsor last time. She's well drawn to be ridden positively and can go one better over the longer trip. Spirit of Albion has also been knocking on the door in maidens and should be in the mix again upped to 10f, while War Supremo was unsuited by a steady gallop last time and remains capable of better now fitted with headgear.

3-times a runner-up in maidens but latest effort was an improved one when chasing home a fairly useful sort at Windsor (8.1f). Shapes as though he'll stay further than a mile and he probably sets the standard on form.

    Verdict
Consistent in maidens but no match for a winning newcomer when 5/6, creditable second of 8 in maiden at Goodwood (8f, good to firm) 35 days ago, not helped having been lit up by a wayward horse early on. Dam stayed this far and he has solid claims if settling up in trip.

Study of Man filly makes plenty of appeal on paper. In need of the experience when seventh of 11 in novice at Goodwood (9.9f, good, 9/1) on debut 14 days ago. May well do better.

Has improved on his 2-y-o form since stepping up in trip. Not suited by the steady gallop when third of 6 in maiden at Redcar (10f, good to firm) 11 days ago. Visor on first time and remains open to improvement, for all he'll be even better over longer trips in handicaps.

Consistent rather than progressive. Did enough to suggest he stays this sort of trip when creditable fourth of 8 in handicap at Salisbury (9.9f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Will need to improve with blinkers on first time.
