AQUITAINE BOY was holding his form well earlier this season, having finished fourth in a strong handicap for the grade at Market Rasen in April and he's fancied to make another winning reappearance. Take a Hike and Top Tier Gossip are less exposed than most and it would be significant if there were strong market vibes for either, while Dalileo would need to be on a going day but has fallen back down the weights.

Showed some ability in bumpers and when third in a novice hurdle over this trip at Worcester on hurdling debut. Hasn't progressed from that but is in excellent hands and could improve back up in trip with cheekpieces fitted for handicap debut.

On a losing run but showed he retained ability when runner-up twice in the spring, latterly in a 6-runner handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f, good to soft). Off 6 months but is on a workable mark and of interest if the worst of the rainfall arrives.

Off the mark in handicaps over 2½m at Newcastle in January and held his form well thereafter, strong form for the grade when fourth of 11 in a handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (18.6f, good to firm) in April. Goes well fresh and should appreciate the longer trip/easier ground. Solid claims.

In good heart when placing in a pair of handicaps over a similar trip earlier this year, deserving extra credit having been caught behind a weakening rival when third at Carlisle (19.3f) in April. Should be in the mix if ready to roll on his return.

Posted best effort thus far when third of 9 in a novice hurdle on qualifying run at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good) in June. Return to longer trip a likely plus but will need to jump with more fluency if he's to make an impact now handicapping (yard also saddle Take A Hike).

Runner-up both complete starts in maiden points and showed improved form over hurdles when twice placed in handicaps over 2½m/3m during the winter. Shaped well back from a break in a better race over C&D in May (disappointed on chase debut since) and could be interesting back over hurdles.

Creditable second at Carlisle this time last year but hasn't reproduced that since. Continues to fall in the weights without looking like taking advantage but is worth a market check with headgear on first time for current yard.

Out of sorts since winning a Catterick maiden hurdle (15.7f, soft) early last year, faring no better on third start in a handicap when eleventh of 14 in a handicap hurdle at Perth (16.2f, soft) in April. Improvement needed now tackling a longer trip on reappearance.

Allowed to build up an insurmountable lead when winning an amateur riders' event off this mark at Catterick in December. Likely needed his comeback at Uttoxeter last month but interesting to see if the market expects better back down in grade off his last winning mark.

Last of 5 in a claiming hurdle at Sligo (17.9f, good to soft) on his final run for Gordon Elliott (modest maiden for that yard) and again looked less than straightforward when swerving and unseating his rider on stable debut. Cheekpieces on but remains with plenty to prove.

Modest winning hurdler for Tim Vaughan last September. Changed yards for £1,000 and showed a bit of ability remains on second start for new yard when sixth of 9 in a handicap hurdle at Perth (20.2f, good to soft, 200/1) 10 days ago. Will need to build on that if she's to be more competitive.
