SALLAAL looked one to follow when winning on debut at Yarmouth in the autumn so is worth another chance having pulled too hard in a listed race at Newmarket on return. Fellow penalised winner Arctic Grey edged out a useful sort at Southwell on debut 2 weeks ago so rates the main threat.

Frankel colt. Half-brother to high-class 7f-1¼m winner Benbatl, smart 1¼m-1½m winner Modaara, and 1000 Guineas winner Elmalka. Looked a good prospect when making a winning debut in novice at Yarmouth in October. Too green in listed race at Newmarket on return and worth another chance.

Blue Point gelding who cost 150,000 gns at last year's breeze-ups. Left debut behind when second at Redcar 2 weeks ago, albeit no match for winner. Hood back on.
