CHEVAL GRIS (11) stepped up to a staying trip for the first time last start and relished the challenge, working home well for second at the end of 2200m at Newcastle. Still a maiden which is a concern but she looks to have found her niche. MEET ME IN BONDI (6) let down nicely but found one better last time out over 1600m at this track. Big step up in distance today but trust the in-form Bjorn Baker yard will have him ready. Lightly raced Irish import TRAPALANDA (7) has not appeared since winning easily over 2414m at Listowel last September. Has been gelded since landing in the Neasham/Archibald yard. Clearly talented but let the market tell the story. DE LOUVIERE (2) has made up many lengths to fill minor placings at his last two, both at or around this journey. Sure to be there at the business end again. KONING (3) is a dour type who hasn't won for a while but should keep coming - one for the trifectas and first fours.
