RAY'S AWAKE (3) steps up to a middle distance for the first time after a couple of sound efforts to open this season. Daniel Bothamley is a positive jockey change, and in a field that is not very strong, he is the one to beat. AUTUMN BREEZE (1) was not far away at Cromwell 3 weeks ago over 1400m, and he will relish getting out to a middle distance for the first time. He can settle a touch closer than usual and should be right in the finish here.
