The Venetia Williams stable is under a bit of a cloud at present, but KING OF RECORDS very much caught the eye when a promising second at Ludlow in February and gets the nod to go one better with further improvement forthcoming. Roadshow is clearly thought capable of appreciably better, while Amancio has good place claims if backing up his Newbury effort.

Fairly useful 1m scorer on Flat in France in 2023. Changed hands for €62,000 and left hurdling debut form behind when third in 12-runner novice at Ludlow (15.8f, soft) 57 days ago, running on. Open to further improvement and holds leading claims.

A fairly useful winner on Flat for Andre Fabre last summer. Failed to meet expectations sent hurdling in a first-time tongue strap after 9 months off at Wincanton recently, though was in need of the experience and also said to have made a respiratory noise. Clearly thought capable of better.

Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 10.5f) for Jack Channon and showed first form as a hurdler when second in 5-runner Newbury novice (16.3f, good) 34 days ago, albeit no match for winner. First run for yard after leaving Barry Brennan. Harry Cobden booked.

Better effort over hurdles (modest form) when 13¾ lengths fifth of 10 in maiden at Uttoxeter last May. Well beaten over C&D 5 months later, though.
