SUPERZOOM (7) has been racing well on soft tracks this year and led for a long way at Ballina last time out before finishing second by a short head. He benefited from a change of tactics that day, and with the advantage of the pole position, he can take them all the way this time. LION'S PRIDE (4) dropped in grade and was peaking third up when running into the money for the first time in 3 starts this prep at Kilcoy. The step up from 1200m to 1400m will suit him, and with the in-form Justin Huxtable back in the saddle, he will be hard to hold out. PLATINUM GIFT (8) had to work a touch too hard to find the front at the Gold Coast on the poly track there nearly 3 weeks ago and weakened out of it in the run home. He has had some gear changes since then, and with Bailey Wheeler in the saddle this time, he is worth another chance. QUEST OF QUESTS (5) needed his fresh-up run, and he is usually a lot sharper second up. He has a good draw and will be a quick improver. Stick with him.
